What's Your Mountain?

“Now unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,” Eph 3:20 (KJV)
I know many of us believe we’re witnessing America – even Tucson – falling into that proverbial “handbasket” we hear of. Yes, even Hell on earth. Yet, when did you last ask – or even think to ask -the Lord for guidance on where you might focus His exceeding abundant power that works through you?
No, don’t pray, “Lord, things are awful! Crime is up. Hope is down. God, You can do anything! Help me! Do something!” Please, take that deep breath and read all of Ephesians 3:20 again. Perhaps you learned the first part of this verse, and not the last? Hey, the key to His power on Earth as in Heaven is specifically His power that works in us. How about through us?
Jesus answered this question when He said, “…If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.” Matt 17:20 (KJV)
So, what’s your mountain?
To those of us who know Him as Lord, “…God has dealt to every man the measure of faith.” Rom 12:3 (KJV)
But, we need to use it, right? When was the last time God made you do anything? He doesn’t work that way. He has equipped those of us who nurture relationship with Him. We must first “…acknowledge every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.” Philemon 6 (KJV), and then ACT according to His gift of power.
Before Jesus went to the Father, he assured us that we would do the works He did, and greater works! John 14:12 (KJV) That’s powerful beyond words! That covers everything, doesn’t it? His power is in you waiting to work through you! We each must act in the authority and responsibility that He has given us individually. Receive and use His power, knowing that as a believer you are equipped to help restore the America God guided us to create 247 years ago. America Shall be Saved! Don’t limit God. Psalm 78:41 (KJV)

A Tucson resident since 1964, Piet founded Baja’s Frontier Tours in 1966, producing Personalized Wilderness Travels throughout Baja California. In 1987, his wife Mary joined the adventure, and they expanded their educational tours to include select areas of Mexico and the American Southwest.
Piet and Mary are passionate about sharing their love of God’s Word and discipling others towards a Biblical Worldview which informs all aspects of life and culture.
They have long been members of 4Tucson. In 2020, they were called from producing educational tours to beginning more specific aspects of God’s leading. This continued with working under Paul Parisi in 4Tucson’s Government Domain, where Piet and Mary are co-chairs of the Biblical Citizenship Committee, working to establish Culture Impact Teams in churches throughout Tucson/Pima County, awakening the Church and getting out the Biblical Vote.
They also teach/coach Constitution classes from Patriot Academy, including the most recent offering, Biblical Citizenship in Modern America. Their Biblical Citizenship endeavors include encouraging others to join them in sharing the truth of America’s rich godly foundations both via Zoom and in personal classes in churches, clubs and homes.
