Opportunities to Make a Difference

You are special, you have a purpose, and you are needed! 4Tucson has several opportunities in which YOU can make a difference. Our volunteer needs are listed below. Volunteering is a great way to meet new people and help out the community of Tucson. Volunteering can also provide stimulating challenges, gain confidence and help you find and fulfill your purpose!

Volunteers Needed:

Christian authors, kids' section (face painters, coloring buddies, readers), set-up, tear down, help shoppers with selections, bagging, restocking, prayer warriors, evangelists, chauffeur authors.

Set-up, Clean-up, Wrist-band sales, Wrist-band checkers, manning the 4Tucson booth, marketing (help spread the word to ministries and to the Christian community)

Tucson Festival of Books (March 9-10, 2024)

4Tucson has signed up for 4 booths together. Our goal is to bring Christians into the arena and pray for the Holy Spirit to bring the participants to our booth to learn about Jesus. This year we are excited to partner with Calvary Chapel of Tucson’s bookstore.  We need volunteers who can help:

Ministry Volunteer Fair (April 14, 2024)

4Tucson is inviting ministries from all over the Tucson area to come together for a Ministry Volunteer Fair on April 14, 2024 from Noon to 5PM. Participants can come to one place and interact with many ministries, looking for the opportunities that catch their heart and giftings. The Fair is free to attend, and food trucks will be available.

Also, at 3PM, we will have 2 well-known Illusionists who will perform for this family-friendly event. The performance will last about 1.5 hours, and they will be available to sell and sign their books as needed. Tickets to get into the show are $10. We need volunteers who can help:

Set-up, Clean-up, Wrist-band sales, Wrist-band checkers, Manning the 4Tucson Ministry booth, and marketing, in that we need help spreading the word to Tucson ministries and to the Christian community.  Contact Lynda@4Tucson.com.

Tucson Jericho Ride (2025)

Jericho, as we affectionately call it, is a motorcycle ride encircling Tucson with prayer destinations to gather for prayer over specific aspects of our city. Our 2nd Annual Tucson Jericho Ride will take place in March of 2025. We need volunteers who can help:

Amphi Market Day

The 4th Annual Amphi Market Day will take place Saturday, November 9th. In the past it has been an artisan & farmers market. This year it will be a swap meet with a food truck, artisans, and community resource vendors. Volunteers are needed to:

Faith & Finances

Christian Education & Training Center

The CETC offers free services and information to build stronger families. 4Tucson’s focus is to engage in discussion that will help families develop household budgets and goals that will allow them to break cycles of financial crises.
