Make Friends

4Tucson invites Christians like you to Make Friends through one of our monthly Fellowships. Do you realize that there are Christians across the city with whom we will spend eternity in heaven? Wouldn’t it be fun to meet a few of them on this side of heaven? God created us to be in relationship with Him and with each other (Matthew 22:36-40). Our monthly fellowships help you meet people with similar interests, and work together on city issues. The fellowships are organized around the domains of society. Each domain offers a unique perspective on the challenges Tucson faces. Domains are Healthcare, Government, Education, Church, Prayer, Social Services, Justice, Philanthropy, Environment, Sports, Business and Media/Arts.

The purpose of the Business Domain is to impact Tucson’s culture by teaching Biblical principles so that businesses can flourish for the benefit of owners, employees, and the community.

The purpose of the Church Domain is to identify Christians who will promote the Kingdom of God within the city by partnering with their home congregation, encouraging their home congregation to partner with other congregations in tangible ways, and aligning with Jesus’ John 17 prayer for the Church in Tucson.

The purpose of the Education Domain is to unite the community around local schools by supporting students in their social, intellectual, physical, emotional, and spiritual development in order to prepare them for a lifetime of success.

The purpose of the Environment Domain is to mobilize Christians to create a God-honoring culture of biblical stewardship of the natural environment throughout the greater Tucson Metropolitan area. “They exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen.” – Romans 1:25 (NIV)

The purpose of the Government Domain is to mobilize Christians to create a culture of community involvement in the political process in our city, state and nation.

The purpose of the Healthcare Domain is to identify Christians within the Healthcare sphere who recognize specific problems in the healthcare system and are willing to use their influence to promote change that will help people enjoy a healthy quality of life.

The purpose of the Justice Domain is to uphold human life, to break the cycle of “poverty in spirit” found within a community, and engage the Christian community in ensuring justice is applied equally and without partiality.

Media & Arts

The purpose of the Media & Arts Domain is to use every communication medium and art form in the city to positively shape and influence the community’s perception of Christianity, Christians and a Christian worldview.

The purpose of the Philanthropy Domain is to educate and empower individuals and families in the greater Tucson area so they can experience financial freedom and grow in their faith and generosity.

The purpose of the Prayer Domain is to inspire and motivate people to know God intimately and create a culture of prayer so that the will of God is done in Tucson as it is in Heaven.

Social Services

The purpose of the Social Services Domain is to provide opportunities for Christ-centered fellowship, collaboration, professional development, and prayer among social service agencies and partners.

The purpose of the Sports Domain is to identify Christians who are passionate about and are willing to use their influence within sports as a vehicle for teaching and promoting Christian values and principles within our city.

One goal at 4Tucson is to help strengthen families. We are committed to finding ways in which to help stop the pipeline to generational poverty.

Faith & Finances is a financial education ministry that empowers people in low-income households with practical money management skills, biblical stewardship principles, and supportive relationships.

Amphi Market Day is an artisan’s fair and farmer’s market. There will be food trucks, businesses and fresh produce. We believe in helping the neighborhood come together to help each other. When that happens, the neighborhood gets stronger!

Movement Day Tucson is an annual collaborative event that strengthens our existing Taskforces and launches new ones, but it is so much more than that.
